Our Crew
Our team of cruise consultants has been chosen carefully and between them, have over 127 years cruise experiences and have cruised on most ships and been to most destinations. In fact, we have two VIP consultants who exclusively look after our Gold and Platinum POSH Club members and high end cruisers. Most of our consultants have completed the highest level of accreditation across all cruise lines, including ICCA Accreditation and Commodore status with Princess, making sure you deal with the experts.
- Founder & Chairman
I took my first cruise when I was 21 and never imagined I'd own a company that specialised in selling cruise holidays. Since that first cruise, I've been lucky enough to experience an array of different ships, destinations and experiences including the naming ceremony of Queen Mary II which was an amazing experience. As you can see by the photo, one of my sports is snow skiing although I do enjoy golf, scuba diving, swimming, exercise, motor racing, hiking, fishing and discovering new places in the world. Of course I love cruising and I think I have one of the best jobs in the world! I'm very proud of our staff and achievements, what we have achieved in a short period of time and look forward to keeping our company at the forefront of the cruise travel industry.
- Finance & Administration
One evening out on deck as I watched the moonlight sparkle on the waves, a wise (and handsome) man said to me, "See how the moonlight hits the water; that's what cruising is all about". Now, when I cruise, I often remember those words with a wry smile as I listen to the waves lap (or crash!) on the side of the ship because cruising is that, and so much more. For those of us that have had the joy of doing the right cruise at the right time, it's a holiday that's infectious. It can be glamorous, it can be fun, it can be quality time spent with family or friends, it can be of another era, it can be relaxing, it can be adventurous or just plain good value - Whichever it is, each cruise is different and it is what you make it. I urge you to "go cruising - discover the difference"... I did and I'm hooked!
- Hotel Administrator
I’ve been working with ecruising.travel for over three years in various administrative roles. In this time I have been fortunate enough to have dined with some wonderful people, including ecruising clients & Cathy Freeman, whilst inspecting some of the most beautiful ships to have sailed through Sydney Harbour, such as Queen Victoria, Statendam, Pacific Dawn and Queen Mary 2. Last year I had the opportunity to sail through Asia on Legend of the Seas with some gorgeous travel agents, with inspections at three of our top Singapore hotels. We have a fantastic team at Ecruising with loads of experience and plenty of awards and achievements from both local and international cruise lines. Why would you book your cruise holiday anywhere else?
- Cruise Travel Consultant (ICCA Accredited)
I’ve travelled down a long and interesting road with ecruising. I’ve experience some great opportunities including various ship inspections on Rhapsody of the Seas, Pacific Dawn, Star Gemini, Queen Mary 2, Aurora and of course my cruise holiday to France onboard Viking Burgundy! Now becoming an Accredited Cruise Consultant and a Commodore with Princess Cruises, my passion for travel has grown even more! With my wonderful experience so far I’m sure it can only get better! (ICCA Accredited Cruise Consultant, Princess Academy - Commodore)
- Website Administrator
It would be a bit of an understatement saying I have a passion for technology. I've been working in Multimedia for 7 years though never in Travel before starting here at ecruising in 2007. After finishing a Media degree a few years back, I moved to Canada for an extended working holiday to snowboarded as much as humanly possible. But while I love the tranquillity and awe of the Rocky Mountains, I eventually returned to Australia and ‘real life’ to follow my other passion; web design. I have travelled extensively through North America, Europe, the UK, and next on the list is a snowboard trip to Japan.
- Cruise Travel Consultant
After finishing my HSC in 2006 I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I traveled to Thailand, got the 'Travel Bug' and when I returned I couldn’t think of anything I would rather do than Travel! So I attended Loftus TAFE and completed my Certificate III in Wholesaling, Certificate III in International Retail Fares and my Galileo Certificate, and graduated in 2007. I then got a job in a Surf/Ski company working as a wholesale consultant, and shortly after starting I took over managing a hotel in Thredbo owned by the company. At the end of 2008 I traveled extensively throughout Asia and became interested in the Cruise industry, and now here I am at ecruising. I haven’t yet had the chance to go on a cruise but it will be my next holiday! (ICCA Accredited Cruise Consultant, Princess Academy - Commodore, Captain Cook Cruises accredited, RCCL University of WOW - Expert, Costa Cruises accredited, Crystal Cruises accredited, Blue Lagoon accredited, APT River Cruises accredited, Triple Diamond Azamara Cruises accredited, Silverseas accredited, Holland America accredited)
- Office Manager
I have more than 30 years experience in corporate office environments but have never enjoyed work as much as I do now since joining the Travel and Tourism Industry 6 years ago. My first taste was working for a ‘Sydney Icon’ followed by a corporate travel agency but you cannot beat the excitement and vibrancy of working in Cruising. I have travelled to many destinations worldwide and cannot wait to revisit my favourite places through a cruise, it’s the best value travel experience there is.
- Airfares
As a relative newcomer to the exciting world of cruising, I have always had a fascination with airplanes and travel. I gained my diploma of tourism from the AFTA college in 1997 and went to work for Australia’s largest airline wholesale company. Developing my airline and airfare knowledge for well over a decade, you can be rest assured that we will find you the best airfare deals to perfectly match your cruise. I have travelled the world extensively through my airline contacts and I am looking forward to doing the same onboard a luxurious cruise ship!
- Documentation Coordinator
My passion for travel started while I was still a school student. As a 15 year old I was lucky enough to attend a school trip exploring Italy, Switzerland and France. The sights of the Amalfi Coast and Paris lit up at night and the mountains in Switzerland got me through my HSC and into studying Travel. In 2008, my friends and I organised our first cruise. It didn’t work out for me – I was left behind sitting exams, but I did earn an Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management. I now find myself working in the Cruise industry surrounded by enthusiastic and passionate co-workers. My next goal is to make up for that cruise I missed out on!
- Cruise Travel Consultant
I have been travelling on and off since I was 15, as my previous career was a professional dancer for 12 years. I was very fortunate with that to have lived and worked in Japan, Thailand, USA and Sweden. In 2003, I started working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in their production shows for 3 years. I worked on a variety of their ships and travelled all through the USA and the Caribbean and loved it very much. It was on the Grandeur of the Seas when I worked for the future cruise consultant as a side job that I developed my passion for the Travel industry. I hung my dance shoes up and moved to the UK in 2007 and started working for a Travel agency where I learnt the industry and continued my travels through the UK and Europe for the next 2 1/2 years. I’ve recently moved home to Australia which brings me to now and I’m really happy to be a part of the Ecruising team! I hope with my cruising and travel experience it will help aid you to have the holiday of a lifetime!
- Accounts Administrator
I’ve always been interested in travelling; I’ve had a couple of working holidays in the US – skiing and horse riding instructing. I have spent time living and teaching English in northern Japan where I made the switch from skiing to snowboarding. I also taught in the more tropical Thailand for a year and a half and had a great time travelling in South-East Asia. Upon my return to New Zealand I changed tack and worked in the accounting industry. I’ve recently made the move across to Sydney where I’ve been enjoying the warmer weather. I haven’t been on a cruise ship yet but I love being on the water and have been learning to sail here in Sydney Harbour.
- Wholesale Cruise Travel Consultant
My passion for travel first started when I was in high school and choose to study Travel and Tourism, which opened up my horizons into the travel industry. After school I got a traineeship with Tourism New South Wales when this was complete I did further studies at TAFE, gaining certificates III and IV in Travel and Tourism. I first travelled around Europe with friends in 2005 and got the travel bug. Two years later I then went to live in London for three years and travelled around a lot of Europe, the UK and parts of America. Whilst in London I worked for a cruise company where my passion for cruising began. Now I am back in Sydney and still have a passion for travel and cruising which brings me to Ecruising today. I am looking forward to my next cruise and travelling again.
- Cruise Travel Consultant
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to working in the Travel industry and travel the world. Before finishing school I'd already completed my TAFE Travel and Tourism certificate II. During this time I have lived in London, travelled throughout Europe, Scandinavia, UK, Africa, America, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, cruised the Pacific Islands and most recently cruised through the Vanuatu Island on the Island Passage.
